An agreement with the National Park prohibits access from Belstone Village. Use the road from the traffic lights in the middle of Okehampton. Up the hill past the Army camp. Fork left through the gate and across the moor brook. Continue along the tarmac road and park at the lay-by just before the observation post (OP22) at grid reference SX600911 (50° 42′ 09.50″ N, 003° 59′ 02.06″ W). Then walk along the track, then head east to approach the back of Oke tor.
IMPORTANT: As stated within the Dartmoor rules, it is illegal to drive/park more than 15 meters from metalled/tarmaced road, or drive up the tracks. You must obey signage regarding access.
